The Practice Roadmap is a visual representation of the components necessary to set up and operate a successful practice that provides patient self-management support, uses appropriate technology, and operates efficiently. Click on a topic in the roadmap image to go to that module. More Learning tracks highlight specific modules a practice would focus on based on their specific needs. For example, the EHR Adoption track identifies the various modules that describe the various smodules that describe the EHR implementation process. The Doctor’s Office Quality Information Technology University initiative was launched in 2007 by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) to provide guidelines and recommendations for clinical practices in the adoption and implementation of electronic health records (EHR) and care management. The content on the website reflects the expertise and knowledge of healthcare professionals dedicated to the improvement of healthcare delivery and patient care.

The Business Plan module introduces business and financial concepts and principles that you can apply for successful practice operation.
