Health Plan Reimbursement
 Created in 1997 through a partnership between Masspro, the Massachusetts Association of Health Plans, and the four Massachusetts Medicare Advantage Plans, the Health Plan Reimbursement Program offers community agencies reimbursement for the administration of influenza and pneumococcal vaccine to Medicare Advantage members.
Since this voluntary program began, over 117 community agencies have participated and Medicare Advantage plans have reimbursed them over $300,000. Participating Medicare Advantage plans include BlueCross BlueShield of Massachusetts-Blue Care 65, Fallon Community Health Plan, Harvard Pilgrim Health Care-First Seniority, and Tufts Health Plan-Secure Horizons.
