In the physician office setting, Masspro is working with practices across a wide range of initiatives related to improving the quality and delivery of patient care. Specifically, we will enhance information technology (IT) and non-IT components including, electronic health records (EHRs), office culture, and the utilization of evidence-based medicine.
Masspro will continue to utilize its extensive experience in EHR implementation, workflow analysis, culture change and office and clinical redesign to work with physicians in small-to-medium sized practices to further EHR adoption and implementation.
Working with End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) Networks, Masspro aims to decrease vascular access problems by increasing rates of arterial-venous fistulas. This effort will also promote influenza and pneumococcal vaccinations for this population.
In addition, we will work with physician practices to improve care provided to their underserved populations through the use of the Culturally and Linguistically Appropriate Services (CLAS) standards.
