Colorado LTC - Technologically Dependent Medically Complex Program (TDMC)
Formerly known as the Hospital Back Up (HBU) program, the Technologically Dependent Medically Complex (TDMC) Program is a Medicaid benefit that provides hospital level of care to a select population in qualified nursing facility settings. The TDMC Program serves a diverse group of clients who meet special eligibility criteria. The population served must be medically stable in a chronically acute state and be in the hospital prior to approval. In addititon, the clients must fall into one of the following categories: ventilator-dependent, complex wound care or medically complex.
